Born in Philadelphia, attended Lehigh University;graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Economics, Embry-Riddle University with a M.S. in Aero Space Science, Ordained in 2007, and certified in Elijah House Counseling. He has 21 years experience as Lt.Col. in Air Force as a fighter pilot and 11 years flying for United Air Lines. With over 15 years of instructor pilot training, Rock brings a wealth of experience as a teacher and pastor. Rock and Vicki have been married for 28 years with four children. Peter is the overseer of the Restoring The Foundations program at Transformation Ministries. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he is a Healing House Network representative for Restoring The Foundations International. He is a teacher in the TM School of Ministry and, with his great love for music, is also in charge of the audio and visual department.
Amy is a counselor and teacher with Transformation Ministries. She earned her Bachelor's degree from UAB in Biology, Masters of Arts in Counseling and Educational Specialist in Counseling all from UAB. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist in 1998. Since then she has gained extensive experience working with women, children, teens, and families. She has worked closely with the Department of Human Resources, Child Advocacy Centers, and District Attorney's offices as she served foster care clients and victims of domestic violence and abuse. Amy and her husband, Scott, have been married for 19 years and have five children. They are members of Church of the Highlands.
Jan is the Director of Operations for TM and also Rock's Executive Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University. Jan held various technical leadership positions at AT&T during her 36-year career. She has over 14 years’ experience as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Jan felt like God was calling her into full-time ministry and is thrilled to join Transformation Ministries. She brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the team as well as a trained heart for prayer ministry. She is a graduate from the TM School of Ministry and has completed Issue-Focused Ministry and Thorough-Format Ministry training from Restoring the Foundations.
Matthew was born in Alachua, Florida. It was at a revival at the age of 14 that he gave his hand to the preacher and was baptized.
He joined the Air Force for 8 years right after high school. This started his firefighting career. While stationed at Plattsburgh N.Y., he met a Southern Baptist Pastor that led him to have a real relationship with JESUS. After his Air Force years he attended California Baptist College (now California Baptist University).
Matthew’s 1st encounter with GOD was an audible call one Sunday night while ironing his work uniform. Immediately the call was followed up with Jeremiah 1:4-10. There were two other times that he had a vivid GOD encounter (Isaiah 11 and Isaiah 61). GOD’S mission to Matthew is that of a spiritual tow truck pulling believers out of the murky circumstance of life.
While in Yuma, Arizona, Matthew and Rillia were married 16 years ago. They have five adult children and quiver full of beautiful grandchildren. They are members of Church of the Highlands, Birmingham, Alabama, where they serve faithfully in the Marriage and Family ministry, Pastoral Care, Online Campus and Prayer team members. Matthew graduated Highland’s College in the Lead Pastor practicum in May 2016. He is an ordained Elder in the Church of God In Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) in 2009. Matthew retired from the Department of Defense with 28 years of federal service. He served as a DOD Firefighter Captain while living in Yuma, Arizona.
Nancy grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia on a dairy farm. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. At UAB, Nancy earned a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. God has blessed her with two wonderful sons, Joshua and Matthew. She has served through the years in Ministries including: Elijah House; Birmingham Prayer Furnace; Children’s Ministry at Camp CFO; Altar, Prayer, and Children’s Ministries at her church. She the new TM School Administrator and is also certified as a Restoring the Foundations IFM Prayer Minister. She has enjoyed working as a Pediatric Physical Therapist helping those with physical challenges. Her true passion is seeing God heal broken hearts, set captives free and bring beauty from the ashes!
Patti loves being involved with ministering hope and healing to those who need Father God’s touch. Her passion is to see lives transformed by His grace and set free to walk in their God given identity! She attended Birmingham Theological Seminary (BTS) at night for two years while working with her Real Estate license in Property Management during the day. In May 1998 she received a Certificate of Biblical Counseling and was very involved in counseling at a large Birmingham church for several years. Working as a Property Manager for 16 years following her divorce, she then changed to her current career of 14 years as the Program Assistant for an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team for individuals diagnosed with a Severe Mental Illness (SMI). She is a certified graduate of Transformation Ministries’ School of Ministry as well as a Restoring The Foundations qualified minister in both the Issue Focused Ministry and Thorough Format Ministry. Patti is a member of Church of the Highlands.
Joanna is the Editor for TM's School of Ministry's workbooks. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Judson College and has numerous years of Executive Support in healthcare, accounting and recruiting. As a former Homeschool mom, she brings strong administrative skills, including curriculum development, proposals and business writing. Joanna felt the Lord leading her to retire from corporate America and offer to serve here at Transformation Ministries, where she shares the heart and vision of all that God is doing here. She has recently been certified for Prayer Ministry as part of the Restoring the Foundations International Organization here at Transformation Ministries.
Jon is an addiction counselor with Transformation Ministries. He also oversees case management at The Turning Point foundation. Jon, his wife Elizabeth, and two children live in Birmingham and are members at Church of the Highlands. Jon is co-leading the Free At Last Recovery Group at the Riverchase campus on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm.
